Kill Me

Marina Otero's sultry, intimate performances continue the Recordar para vivir (Remember to live) project, a never-ending work in which she is her own object of research, right up to the day she dies. By turns overwhelming, radical, surprising, baroque or savage: the Argentine performer invests the theater with a vital, contradictory energy, as impudent and impulsive as it is vibrantly inventive. Kill me follows on from Love me and Fuck me: after a personal crisis, a psychiatric diagnosis confronts her. With four dancers also suffering from personality disorders and Nijinsky, she depicts the madness of love - or mental health - in a free, skin-deep gesture.
