2. Your Intellectual Property
If you are a registered user and have an account through which you post information, theatre.info does not acquire any ownership rights to Your Content.
Once you make Your Content available to other users (individually or as a group), you agree that they may, free of charge and for exclusively personal purposes, view and share Your Content on the Site or from the Site to other electronic communication devices (including smartphones, tablets, smart TVs), for the entire duration that Your Content is hosted on the Site.
Furthermore, for the duration that Your Content is hosted and strictly within the scope of the features that make the Site accessible via the internet or other electronic communication platforms, you authorize us to reproduce or display Your Content and, if necessary, adapt its format for this purpose.
You are also advised that, given the inherent nature of the internet, transmitted data—including Your Content—is not protected against the risks of misappropriation and/or hacking, for which we cannot be held liable. It is your responsibility, where applicable, to take all appropriate measures to protect this data.
3. Other Users’ Intellectual Property
The sharing of content posted online (excluding introductory texts) is governed by the Etalab license (which you accepted upon registration).
4. Our Intellectual Property
theatre.info is our exclusive property. Generally speaking, we grant you a free, personal, non-exclusive right to access the site.
5. Our Liability as a Hosting Provider
We are not legally bound by any general obligation to monitor content transmitted or stored via the Site. The only obligations inherent to our role as a hosting provider concern the fight against certain types of content in accordance with regulations; theatre.info, in its capacity as a hosting provider, makes available to users a contact page through which they can report content relating to: the glorification of crimes against humanity, incitement to racial hatred, child pornography, incitement to violence, and violations of human dignity. We will remove any manifestly illegal content as soon as we become aware of it.
The retention of your connection data, which is otherwise covered by professional confidentiality and processed in accordance with legal provisions regarding personal data.
6. Your Responsibility as a User
By providing Your Content on the Site, you are required to comply with applicable laws and regulations. It is therefore your responsibility to ensure that the storage and distribution of this content via the Site does not constitute a violation of third-party intellectual property rights (for which you do not have the necessary authorizations from the third parties or collective management organizations that hold rights to such content), an infringement of individuals’ rights (including defamation, insults, abuse, etc.) or privacy, or a violation of public order and morality (including the glorification of crimes against humanity, incitement to racial hatred, child pornography, etc.).
By uploading and making Your Content available to Other Users on and/or through the Site, you warrant that you hold all necessary rights and authorizations from the relevant rights holders and that you have paid all fees and royalties due to collective management organizations.
Failure to do so will result in Your Content being removed and/or your account being deactivated without prior notice. Furthermore, you will be personally liable for criminal penalties specific to the infringing content (imprisonment and fines), in addition to any potential order to pay damages.
Given the community-oriented nature of the Site and out of respect for everyone’s sensibilities, it is the user’s responsibility to maintain a certain standard of ethics regarding the content posted online and, in particular, to refrain from distributing any content of a violent or pornographic nature.
7. Registration and Access
To take advantage of the features of theatre.info, you must create a user account using the online form provided for this purpose. You are free at any time to modify the content of the Personal Data provided during registration directly in your account or via the contact page.
Furthermore, as a contributor, it is your responsibility to ensure that the personal data used to identify you is accurate and complete. Once the form is submitted, you will receive an email inviting you to click on a link to confirm your registration.
You can access your account by entering your username and the associated password, the confidentiality of which is your sole responsibility. Your use of the Site following your registration is valid for an indefinite period.
We reserve the right to terminate your access at any time, via email, with reasonable notice. In the event of a breach of the obligations inherent to your responsibilities as set forth above, access to your personal account may be temporarily or permanently suspended immediately and without notice by deactivating your account, without prejudice to our other rights.
8. Website Availability
The Website is generally accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except in the event of an interruption—whether scheduled or unscheduled—for maintenance purposes or due to force majeure. As we are subject to an obligation of means, we cannot be held liable for any damages, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from the unavailability of the Site.
9. Evidence, Retention, and Archiving
The electronic records stored in our systems in accordance with best practices in security will be considered proof of email communications, submission of registration forms, video downloads, and posting of comments.
Registration forms are archived on a medium designed to ensure the accuracy and durability required by applicable legal provisions. It is agreed that in the event of any discrepancy between our electronic records and any paper or electronic documents in your possession, our electronic records shall prevail.
