Tas pasaules gals
It's rare to come across truly high-quality contemporary dramaturgy. Actor, director and author Jean-Luc Lagarce (1957-1995) wasn't truly recognized as a playwright until after his death. Like many artists who were neither understood nor appreciated during their lifetime... It's strange to work on the work of an author who won't be recognized by the world until years later. Today, Lagarce's plays are classics of French dramaturgy, and he is the most widely performed contemporary playwright in France, alongside Chekhov and Molière. An author who tells stories about eternal themes: birth, death and love in a simple, profound way.
