Stabat mater furiosa
The mother stands up to the man of war, be he her son, father or lover.
A struggle ensues, and in this struggle the voice of an actor and the electronic music of a sound designer are intrinsically opposed.
Sometimes a duel, sometimes an embrace.
The idea that the machine would be at the service of mankind, assisting it in its tasks, without enslaving it to them, is an old dream, a worn-out hope, all the more so when the machine serves man's attempt to exterminate his fellow man.
On this enduring theme of war, a new voice, a woman's voice imposes itself on the ruins of the next war to indicate to the people of the weak, the quartered, the way forward.
