Piano Man

Add to my favorites

April 7, 2005. A man in a gala suit is found soaked to the skin, wandering near a beach in Kent, England, looking haggard. He seemed to have lost his memory. Four months of silence and mystery followed. Who was he? A criminal on the run? A man with real amnesia? Transferred to hospital, he is said to have sketched a piano and played the instrument with a virtuosity that astounds the staff. His photo was widely circulated in the media. But when the man, nicknamed "Piano Man", begins to speak, he tells a very different story. Swedish filmmaker and director Marcus Lindeen thus reveals, beneath the veneer of myth, the complex truth of a person.
