In the ruins of a bourgeois home, five middle-aged men embark on a series of experiments in an attempt to save the world. Of course, nothing goes as planned: their foolish and absurd attempts fail, and even they no longer know why they’re there. Especially since the world doesn’t need saving. At least not by them. Benoît Lambert creates a biting and mocking show, a theatrical collage made up of brief poetic and political reflections. A collection of rough-and-ready sketches, jumping from one topic to another and from Don Quixote to Galileo’s trial, in an attempt to capture the chaos of our times.
