Scènes de la vie conjugale
Marianne and Johan have been married for ten years. By interviewing them, a journalist seeks to unlock the secret of their radiant happiness. The couple's answers seem to indicate that a dull dissatisfaction is nevertheless undermining them. In the evening, the couple witness a violent argument between friends Peter and Katarina. Later, Marianne is disturbed by Mrs. Jacobi's account of her intention to divorce after twenty years of marriage, and can't help but relate her confusion to the mysterious phone calls her husband has been receiving. An evening at the theater ends with a first quarrel...
This chronicle of a happy and unhappy marriage has everything of the exceptional.
