Poings
"I don't hurt since I know you love me."
Me meets Him at a rave party. "It happens in the middle of the dance floor. Lost between three thousand people moving in every direction. He smiles and the world disappears. Things like that happen." From the very beginning, a fear takes hold of Me, a voice screams at him to leave, to flee and not look back.
Then there's You, an alteration of Me. Like a gradual dispossession, a splitting of the woman's gaze on herself and her inability to act. It's the arrival of Him that gives birth to You.
Poings recounts a love story and its pivotal stages. West: the initial contact, written like the score of an electro track. North: the story of a dream that turns into a nightmare, in which the woman revisits memories of a traumatic scene. South: a car journey and the dialogue of an ordinary couple, revealing the underhand manipulation, micro-aggressions and alienation at the heart of the relationship. Points: matrix matter, chaos in the woman's cranium, from which the 4 cardinal directions emerge. East: the final movement, an escape into Rollerblade, the return home, the return to oneself.
