Entropie is an important work by Léo Lérus, who seeks to show his identity as a Guadeloupean dancer in the world of contemporary dance. In this choreography, he draws on François Roddier's research into the science of systems, energy and disorder. As an artist, Léo Lérus wishes to create a contemporary dance that retains the musicality and movements of Gwo-Ka, a traditional dance of Guadeloupe. (Léo Lérus)

JOIN 2 was born of the encounter, in November 2024, between students from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) and dancers from the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company at the Théâtre de la Ville, under the direction of choreographer Ioannis Mandafounis. (Ioannis Mandafounis)

"So I began to dream. Three versions appeared essential to me.
One composed of a dozen dancers, where the dance would follow, not the proposal of the crescendo, but the sensation of progressive accumulation thanks to that of the instruments. On the other hand, it would be nourished by vertical interventions not present in the music. These interventions, far from opposing the music, would seek to give it a new color, thanks to the punctual development of a system of choreographic counterpoints" (Extract from the note of intent, Odile Duboc, 1994)
