This book lets us read and hear the words of artist Odile Duboc. It is the voice of a choreographer, dancer and teacher, concerned with transmitting the values of her dance, and describing its founding gestures. In a limpid and sometimes poetic style, she describes the foundations of her aesthetic and choreographic language. Les mots de la matière brings together texts written between 1981 and 2010, some of them previously unpublished.
