Le Regole del saper vivere nella società moderna

I discovered Jean-Luc Lagarce's theater at one of the last Avignon festivals I attended, with the play "Trois récits" (L'apprentissage, Le bain, Le voyage à la Haye), performed by superb actors. Of course, I immediately bought the volumes published by "Les Solitaires intempestifs" and searched in Italy, without success, for someone who could translate "Juste la fin du monde", which I would certainly have liked to stage. I was then attracted by some plays by other authors staged at Teatro Libero, until, following an unforeseen program change at the end of the season, I personally chose and translated this short, highly ironic play by Lagarce, which tells of "the rules of savoir-vivre in modern society"
