Why go on? Why toil to begin again? Why, in the face of evidence of catastrophe, exhaustion and death, slave away trying to tell a few derisory stories - our own - again and again? "Histoires de Guerriers": these will be attempts. In a theater that has come to a standstill, we'll be talking about the arrival of a group of survivors who, using Lagarce's words exclusively, will try to reinvent theater as a precarious, collective hope, as a poetic clarification of a certain state of the world we live in; as a possible Grande Vie, a cheerful one too. We beginners, we heroes?
