Voyage au pays de l'inséparé
Visible and invisible, inside and outside, pure and impure, stage and hall... How can we view the world other than through its opposites and oppositions? How can we get rid of this idea of separation? Marguerite Bordat and Pierre Meunier and their team propose a theatrical, sound and visual reverie that questions and deconstructs the divisions inherited from classical Western thought. Seizing on the turmoil provoked on stage by this alternative approach to reality, the performers play with di- vers registers to better confront us with the vertigo of such a shake-up. The philosophical material, L'inséparé de Dominique Quessada, is transformed into a playful situation, offering an unclassifiable theater, both poetic and burlesque.
Seeking to go beyond frameworks and codes, La Belle Meunière company, very re- marked by La Comédie audiences for its creations Bachelard Quartet and Terairofeu, continues its quest for a singular theater without walls or borders. Through a striking reworking of reality, Voyage au pays de l'inséparé is a powerful, sensitive visual experience that takes a scathing look at otherness.
