Parpaing
Who benefits from family secrets?
This is the central question posed by Parpaing, Nicolas Petisoff’s debut play. In it, the actor recounts his life story. The story of a child who, come what may, wakes up every morning because there is bound to be a tomorrow. The story of a young adult who must decide how to present himself to the world because he has to be somebody. The story of a young gay man in a small town in central France.
Step by step, we accompany this man in the making, as he builds his identity, brick by brick. But what happens when what we have chosen to be no longer fits with the reality we discover?
