A wedding feast is about to take place tonight in a small town. It's a grand, bourgeois meal. Hundreds of guests, an exceptional setting, an event. A man, a gentleman, a lady, a woman and a young girl want to attend this wedding and fraudulently invite themselves to the meal. They get past roadblocks, guards, dogs, policemen and servants. They invent pretexts, lost invitation cards... At last, they're there. Relegated to the far end of a succession of reception halls, each more majestic than the last, they were finally installed at the very end, far from the bride and groom and their families. But it didn't matter - they had to be there, no matter how far away, no matter how small. At first, the evening unfolds in a ritualistic fashion: people get to know each other, wait for the food to be served, make up bon mots, abort speeches with laughter... Then it all takes a surreal turn; bitterness, envy and naivety drive these 5 people to the craziest acts. Driven by an irrational need to see, to know, to experience, they go on a rampage, looting, sweeping everything from this world that is not theirs.
