Noce

Add to my favorites

A wedding feast is about to take place tonight in a small town.
It's a grand, bourgeois meal. Hundreds of guests, an exceptional setting, an event.

A man, a gentleman, a lady, a woman and a young girl want to attend this wedding and fraudulently invite themselves to the meal. They pass roadblocks, guards, dogs, policemen and servants. They invent pretexts, lost invitation cards... At last they're there.

Relegated to the end of a succession of reception halls, each more majestic than the last, they're finally installed at the very end, far from the bride and groom and their families. But no matter, they had to be there, no matter how far away, no matter how small.

At first, the evening unfolded according to ritual: people got to know each other, waited for the food to be served, invented bon mots, aborted speeches with laughter... Then it all takes a surreal turn: bitterness, envy and naiveté drive these 5 people to the wildest acts. Driven by an irrational need to see, to know, to experience, they go on a rampage, to pillage, to wipe out everything in this world that is not theirs.

What will be left for them then?

To begin, as the ultimate and derisory dissatisfaction, a wedding of their own, with barricades, guards, dogs, police, servants.
