L'Inhabitante
Their names are Denise, Jules, Suzanne, Louison and Keira. They are sex workers or delivery girls for startups and span three generations. They all share the same fate: that of no longer being able to live in Confluence. On stage, it's in a bus shelter that their destinies intersect, as they wait as much as they set out to change their lives. After collecting testimonies from people living "behind the arches" of Perrache, author Leïla Cassar questions the precariousness of housing, at the heart of socio-economic issues, as well as the place of women in urban public space, often designed for and by men. It's Maxime Mansion's job to stage the wanderings and aspirations of these five "inhabitantes" with delicacy and tenderness.
