Limbo

Alone on stage, Victor de Oliveira tells us the intimate story of his origins, through the prism of his Mozambican-Portuguese heritage. At the heart of a video device giving body to his silhouette or his words, he questions without detour slavery, exile and the unsaid things linked to the colonial memory of his country.

Limbo is the second part of a trilogy by director Victor de Oliveira. It follows Incendios, his first opus, and precedes Les sables de l'empereur, adapted from the text by Mozambican author Mia Couto.
