LES COSMICS
A little girl full of questions uses every means at her disposal to communicate with her astronaut mother lost in the cosmos. In this new creation, Angevine Annabelle Sergent and her storytelling theater imaginatively invite us to reflect on our place in the world.
This is the story of a ten-year-old girl called Céleste. Her mother is an astronaut. Céleste is full of questions. Is it true that we're stardust? What happens when two planets collide? Are there the same people on every planet in every galaxy as there are here? One day, her mother goes on a space mission, and things get out of hand! Céleste decides to build herself a cyber-system to communicate with her. But between Earth and space, signals and waves are being jammed by interference... Will Céleste be able to get in touch with her mother despite the Jacassian interference? Who can help her in her quest? And who is hiding in the sky, higher and higher, more and more powerful? Here we find Annabelle Sergent in her preferred one-woman show format. The writing is chiselled and precise, supported by a sound setting that takes the spectators on a journey from the intimate to the infinite.
