Le Grand Vertige

This novel blew us away on first reading. We swayed between the simplicity of the story and the bursts of intelligence it produced, between the first snows and the South Seas. The unfinished story leaves us in the middle of a sentence, in the middle of a mountain, on a comma. Alone in the face of our own adventure, and witness to the vitality of those who take a step aside to wake up from a monotonous, fossilizing life.
This story is surely unsuitable for the theater: it can only escape. But that's precisely why it's so great, and why we're so obsessed by it. It forces us to shift our practice. Our Grand Vertige brings together a motley crew, driven by the desire for total, lively, daring theater.
