L'Apprenti

Add to my favorites

Julien, a daring and cheeky child, is searching for a father figure. He chooses Pascal, a solitary man he spots in a café. As they meet more often, a sincere relationship develops. The play sensitively explores loneliness, friendship, and the process of learning to be a father.

Far from the usual clichés, the story delicately portrays the birth and evolution of a relationship over the course of an entire year. Seated as close as possible to the stage, we grasp the meaning of this text through a minimalist set design.
