SarkHollande (comédie identitaire)

The Huit rois (nos présidents)theatrical series portrays the eight presidents of the Fifth Republic. After presenting episodes on J. Chirac, F. Mitterrand and V. Giscard d'Estaing at T13 in June 2024, Léo Cohen-Paperman returns with SarkHollande (comédie identitaire).

In "N. Sarkozy's Stand-Up", the former President enters the stage of a comedy club and goes through the key moments of his five-year term (the kärcher, the identity campaign, the economic crisis, the meeting with Carla Bruni). As he tries to stay on stage at all costs, he is chased off by the audience. Enter "F. Hollande's Clown". Just elected, he has a great desire to improve people's lives, but always fails. And then there's Leïla Merabet, who gives an epic, intimate and comic account of her impossible quest for true love. With Leïla, Nicolas and François, SarkHollande brushes the portrait of France from 2007 to 2017 and its political and identity upheavals.
