Faire plein
As part of their training, students in the Directing, Playwriting, and Dramaturgy program at the École du Nord are presenting their own original works this season in the form of sketches. The Théâtre du Nord invites you to discover the first performances by the artists who will shape the theater of tomorrow.
A parked car, night falling, and two friends waiting, motionless, as if suspended in anticipation of an event to come. Around them, reality begins to crack. Silhouettes appear, watch, and vanish. The car’s interior becomes a sanctuary for a grieving family, the stage where intimate crises are reenacted. Amid collisions, accidents, and fantasies, the story oscillates between reality and dreams; points of reference blur, and the invisible comes to the surface.
Nam Du tackles the theme of family narratives marked by silence and disappearance, transforming the theater into a space that borders on the medium to evoke absence.
