Et puis nous avons dansé
In this play, Pierre, Hélène and Paul meet again in the house where they lived together when they were younger. Here, twenty years ago, they loved each other, then separated, drifted apart, each building their own lives away from this shared heritage. Today, they reunite with spouses and children to sell the house and try to unravel the skein of their three lives.
"The staging project I'm proposing with the TROC company will therefore be both an exercise in precision and listening, a work on the body and the spoken word, but also a journey to the heart of these questionings that run through us all, actors and spectators alike. Et puis nous avons dansé is a text that invites us to reflect on the passage of time, on the choices we make, on what we become and what escapes us. It's a text that I hope will touch our audience deeply, while offering us ourselves a space for reflection and renewal."
