Alann & Valentin (deux portraits)
Valentin
A young man goes to the cemetery and lays a draft notebook, filled with notes and worn by the years, on the edge of a grave. Valentin's monologue renders the fragments that make up this diary in two parts, written before and after the sudden and premature loss of a loved one.
Alann
In his barn in the Ardennes, Alann builds tanks. He imagines parades in which he embarks his family and friends. Together, they cross villages in the rain, cross-dressed, outrageously made-up, on stilts or platform soles, galvanized by the techno their speakers spit out.
