Quand nous nous réveillons d’entre les morts

Rubek, a renowned sculptor, has reached a dead end in his life and his art. At a seaside resort, he reunites with Irène, the muse behind the work that made him famous: *The Day of the Resurrection*. From that moment on, he neglects his wife, Maja, who is free to choose the company of a bear hunter over him. For his part, Rubek tries to reconnect with his muse and the ideals of their youth. An avalanche will put an end to this utopia.
In this final work, structured as a parable, Ibsen intertwines life and death, demonstrating the reversibility of these two poles.
