Méduse et Merveille

In Méduses et Merveilles, we are plunged into a dark world where life seems frozen in black and white. Yet Merveille grows up sheltered by his father’s magical stories, filled with dreams and utopia. A factory worker, his father tells him that he is a dream hunter in a vast forest.

In the building across the street, Méduse, on the other hand, grows up fearing the outside world. Raised by a mother who constantly reminds her of the dangers that surround them, she prepares herself every day like a true warrior.

The sudden disappearance of Merveille’s father brings the two children together, and they decide to set out together in search of him. During this journey, they discover the world in all its complexity, caught between beauty and cruelty. A rite-of-passage quest that will lead them to question their fixed views of the world and learn to open themselves up to the world—and to others.
