Les personnages de la pensée
"We are animals who never expected to have the ability to speak," says Valère Novarina. This mystery lies at the heart of his theater and the poem that brings forth untranslatable phrases like "La lumière nuit". Words that set thought in motion, and in which the relationship between us, language and space is vividly revealed: "There is no neutral place where ideas, doctrines and theories clash. There is no place for thought. Language is embodied everywhere Thought is a person. Multiple characters made of the flesh of words. Intempesive, they speak to themselves of that which has not been given a name.
"Two words placed at the bottom of a cave are also the space of language. I enter this cave once again and delve into the underpinnings of language, armed with this paradox that must serve as our guide. With this contradiction, to dig into language, to explore its galleries; to open up the space of words to discover unsuspected caverns."
