Les Forteresses

Jeyran, Shady and Hominaz were born in Iran in the early 1960s. They studied, lived through the 1979 revolution, eight years of war, and exile for two of them. They have had husbands, children and divorces. They've experienced great joys and great sorrows. Les Forteresses unfolds the story of these three extraordinary destinies, at once conjoined and separated, where the intimate and the universal are inextricably intertwined.
