Le Iench

The year he turns eleven, Drissa, a Frenchman of Malian origin, moves into a provincial bungalow with his parents, twin sister and little brother. He dreams of a family that conforms to the images in the advertisements. Two cars in the garage, Sunday lunch, a driving license at eighteen, dancing in nightclubs, the baccalauréat and, above all, a dog, Iench. But will he manage to touch this banality with his fingertips and escape the role that society assigns him in spite of everything?
