In the shadow of a fast-food restaurant in a suburban area, a young fox lives happily ever after. But alas! The place for wild animals is in the forest... and yet, does that apply to vermin? Hunted from everywhere, perpetually in search of a quiet corner, our fox is about to embark on a long journey: and between industrial chicken coops, nuclear power plants and impoverished cemeteries, she's about to discover many funny and strange aspects of our modernity.
