Two friends, Tohu and Bohu, tell a story they've invented: a people decide to build a tower, but relations sour and the edifice struggles to rise.
Like the characters in their story, Tohu and Bohu have trouble getting along. One is confident and at ease with words. The other, more shy, stammers and has difficulty finishing sentences. But they'll have to share the talking and listening to find a way of doing things together.
Revisiting the myth of the Tower of Babel, this tender play tells a joyful story of speech. At once profound and simple, it offers a reflection on language that is accessible to the very young.
