On November 5, 2018, two buildings collapsed in the heart of Marseille.
The unoccupied building at 63 Rue d’Aubagne collapsed first. As it fell, it brought down the occupied building at 65 Rue d’Aubagne.

Nina is a survivor of the collapses. Along the way, she encounters Chiara, Gabriel, Sara, Ibrahim, Ziad, and Marianne—all of whom have been affected by the tragedy, whether as relatives of the victims, displaced residents, or activists fighting for justice.

65 Rue d’Aubagne is a multi-voiced immersion into the events leading up to and following the collapses: the ignored warnings, the indifference of public authorities, and the solidarity of the people of Marseille. Amid this personal, social, and political chaos, the characters’ stories intertwine, revealing the deep wounds of a city and its residents.

To be staged at the Théâtre de La Criée in the fall of 2025.
