The Grenade Group, is a unique ensemble of child dancers, aged 10 to 13, led by choreographer Josette Baïz, blending classical, contemporary, and hip-hop influences to recreate masterpieces of dance heritage with a whole new vitality. And at the MCA, what better way to kick off the new year than with a visit to Paradis, the legendary show by the duo José Montalvo and Dominique Hervieu, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary?
This is a dazzling, multifaceted dance in which vintage video footage interacts with the energy of today’s young dancers, creating a wild ode to all forms of dance and their transmission!
