A plane crash. Sixteen young actors and actresses emerge from the smoking hull exploded onto the stage. They know each other well, they studied together. But the story they tell is not about an air disaster, but about the world-catastrophe-in which they live, here and now.

For the Studio 7 graduation show at the École du Nord, David Bobée and Éric Lacascade, godparents of the student actors, have chosen to listen to this generation, its singularities, its multiple views of the world, its violence and its joy. To let them speak, so that each and every one of them can take their place on stage. The student authors, accompanied by their mentor Éva Doumbia, will be tasked with putting into words and orchestrating the proposals of their fellow performers.

This will be stage writing, a fragmentary narrative, telling the story of how this generation rebuilds, repairs and reinvents, with great creativity, the world that has been left to them. A permanent reinvention, all the freer for being born from ruins, all the more joyful for being without hope.
