Terebrante

Tarring. Tearing, piercing, piercing. Angélica Liddell, in this new creation, digs, again and again, the furrow of her reflections on pain and death. Echoing the universe of Liebestod, to be presented at CDNO in December 2021, this show draws on the power of siguiriya, a traditional flamenco song, sometimes accompanied by guitar or a cappella in its primitive form.
In a ritual to which she brings her undeniable stage presence, the performer stages a deeply moving solo, shaking up the silence of intimate drama and bringing an empty artistic year to a close.
