Soon

Soon are moments in the life of Simon, a character who lives alone in a small apartment and makes art videos. He enjoys singing, connecting with others and inventing poetic devices for his audience. He never goes out, and perhaps doesn't need to anymore. One evening while he's performing on the Internet, his connection is cut.
This show - inspired by the Japanese phenomenon of the Hikikomori - renders sensitive a form of contemporary solitude, a new relationship with others and with oneself, in a world where technology protects us, speaks to us, reassures us, but ends up enslaving us.
