Soliloquio is the second part of an autobiographical trilogy by Tiziano Cruz that has its origins in a tragic event: in 2015, his sister died at the age of 18 as a result of medical negligence. The artist then becomes aware of the discrimination of indigenous people by the Argentine power system: he questions the place of their bodies in a world where colonialism and supremacism are perpetuated by neoliberal thinking. Soliloquio - a one-man show - is based on the 58 letters written to his mother during confinement. Tiziano Cruz's visual performances straddle the border between the political and the intimate. Himself from a region of Argentina uniting nine communities, he works with local populations - Gypsies and South Americans - for the first part of Soliloquio, which he situates in public space.
