Romance

Imène, a brilliant young woman whose best friend Jasmine planned an attack, speaks out to give her back a name and a story.

Retracing the thread of memories.

At what point did it become serious? Did she hesitate? Did she want to back out? What stopped her? Some reasons run so deep, others are so trivial.

To put a stop to this ‘grand plan’, it would have taken changing the world – and perhaps, just perhaps, making room for her in it too.

A contemporary tragedy that traces a shift towards radicalisation, warns of the risks associated with social media, and emphasises the urgent need to respect consent.
