Rhinocéros
In an uneventful town, a rhinoceros appears on the terrace of a café, where Bérenger, Daisy, Jean and other members of their community are seated. Word quickly spreads that an unprecedented epidemic is spreading: a rhinoceritis is transforming the population into horned beasts. Through astonishment, denial and disillusionment, is there any citizen power capable of resisting this metamorphosis? The fable cracks all over, bringing us face to face with autocratic systems that slyly take root around the bend, only to knock on the door one day. The social fabric breaks down, and little by little the community becomes isolated. Bérenger, Daisy, Jean and the others test their mettle in the face of adversity, while their sense of security, or what's left of it, unravels. When all our certainties collapse, how do we recognize our true allies?
