When a puppet wants to take the reins of history, its handlers lose the thread. The award-winning Pouvoir is an often funny, always intelligent six-handed puppet tour de force that pokes fun at theatrical codes to our delight.

Tired of performing the same Shakespearean play over and over again, complete with king, crown and nag, a puppet secedes and wants to have his say. But his handlers, even when they listen to his wishes, don't see it that way. Bad faith, deceit, low blows, all are used to make her fall in line and perform the planned play, as usual. But does the audience agree? Whether this rebellious puppet gets her way or not, one thing is certain: power goes to the head. So who's manipulating whom? A funny show by Belgian company Une Tribu Collectif which, under the guise of farce and the absurd, takes a deeper look at our relationship with power and our free will.
