Tough times are ahead in Europe, very tough indeed, with the approach of what will be World War II. In the midst of it all, a troupe of poor itinerant comedians is on tour, as always, crisscrossing the interior of the country. But the threat of conflict will change everything, and of course, these artists will not remain indifferent to it all. This is the world depicted by playwright Jean Luc Lagarce - the same as in Rules of Civility.
