Nexus de l’adoration

In a world of multiple allegiances and singular experiences, Nexus de l'adoration celebrates heterogeneity by imagining a new cult whose mission would be to sing all things worldly, from electronic cigarettes to Dragon Ball Z, from Argentine tango to humpback whales. In a ceremony with the air of a musical, nine officiants interweave absurd invocations and pop refrains, galvanizing speeches and troubling confidences, deadpan narratives and RnB choreography. Playing with the juxtaposition and collision of disparate elements, Nexus de l'adoration elicits a community for a world to come, giving voice, far from a universal and homogeneous ideal, to a joyous concert of differences and dissonances.
