Mémoire d'un vol
Between photography, installation, video, performance and circus arts, Vasil Tasevski (co-director of Lorient-based Collectif Porte27), a jack-of-all-trades, is honored at the Théâtre de Lorient this fall. The installation Mémoire d'un vol invites us to question movement. The choreographed live performance, which leaves a photographic trace on the floor, is an open-air laboratory. The luminous score reproduces identically the trajectory of the body that evolved during the performance. And what appears immutable is set in motion again, by the light and by the viewer's gaze. This experience, which is not solely intellectual, draws on memories and sensations. This is the credo of Vasil Tasevski, who has multiplied his fields of experimentation to constantly surprise us. He opens doors and invites us, by taking a step back, to take another look at our environments.
