Madame L’Aventure

Where on earth has Jean-Pierre landed? The character in this motley, fragmentary creation navigates the great adventure tales of Don Quixote or Le Mont Analogue. On foot, horseback, sleigh, rocket, hot-air balloon or submarine, he explores the world full of terror and suspense, from the Grail to El Dorado to Atlantis.
But being an adventurer isn't innate. You have to believe in your own strengths, as well as in chance, and be guided by Lady Adventure. Lionel Dray and Clémence Jeanguillaume, who met as performers in Sylvain Creuzevault's shows, turn to tales and epics to draw Jean-Pierre's great inner journey. With a punk and electro-pop soundtrack, they reflect on what quests and conquests mean down here.
