"What's your favorite color?" can be heard over and over again in school playgrounds. It's not such a trivial question... Because through the answer, it's often our history, our culture and our beliefs that speak. Why is blue more beautiful than green? Why is pink in bad taste? In his latest creation, David Bobée uses color as a pretext to address children. In a deliberately immersive staging, featuring light effects and video projections, he takes us into an imaginary museum. Where blue plunges us into the world of Picasso, Klein or Miro, where pink raises the question of gender, where green evokes contemporary ecological issues and where black summons up our fears: fear of the night, fear of the other, fear of the unknown... Through this infinite spectrum, David Bobée goes beyond the simple aesthetic question to remind us that our perceptions are never trivial.
