Les Indésirables

A masquerade where those whom the world hides reveal themselves, serenades that invite those whom no one wants to join the dance, *Les Indésirables* is a fable in which rejected figures come forward with great fanfare. Strangers, pests, untouchables, outcasts, misfits, the unloved, disinherited children, repudiated women, witches, magical creatures from forbidden realms, and all those treated as foreign bodies to our hearts, our nations, and our worlds—are here celebrated and placed at the center in a grand plea that is both romantic and political. Following *em*Rectum Crocodile*/em*, presented in 2025 at the TnS, Marvin M’toumo—a multifaceted artist whose work encompasses fashion, writing, performance, theater, and music—continues to develop an aesthetic in which chimeras and all fragmented identities are finally celebrated.
