Les Femmes savantes

The Palermo-based director, a leading artist on the European stage, signs her first collaboration with the Comédie-Française and her first Molière... Her polysemic theater, where the body, rhythm and the social dimension take precedence, has been drawing poetry from fables for nearly thirty years, between the derisory, the sublime and burlesque excess. In Les Femmes savantes,Molière tells of a family torn apart, some in the name of tradition, others in the name of the beautiful spirit, enamored of poetry, philosophy and science.
