Le Journal de Maïa

Maïa and Alicia, two inseparable friends in middle school, find joy in everything there. Little by little, without her friend understanding why, one of the girls begins to pull away and isolate herself, a victim of anxieties she cannot overcome. Maïa’s Diary opens a sensitive dialogue about adolescent mental health and the difficulty—at times—of expressing one’s distress.
