La Maison Forestière
To write his project, François Cervantes met and talked with residents of Lens and elsewhere, in search of a common "we", a "we" in the making. Among the 45 portraits gathered, he devotes the first episode of this series to the moving story of the daughter of a young man from the Kabyle mountains, recruited as foreign labor in northern France. A child who, after years of hell and violence, and thanks to the miracle of helping hands, has found a position of responsibility in French society.
On stage, Anne Alvaro plays this woman with a rare intensity. She brings to life her childhood, her fears, her dreams, her light. She reminds us that, even on windy days, imagination can save us.
An extraordinary destiny brought to life by a great actress, alone on stage!
